9.30am family service

The 9.30am service is a contemporary worship experience designed for all ages. The service usually runs for about 80 minutes and begins with a time of singing where everyone worships together before children and teenagers head to their dedicated programs. The speaker shares a Bible-based message that speaks to everyday life, and leads the congregation in prayer. Afterwards, the children and teenagers return to share what they’ve been learning and doing.

Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month. This is a time to remember Jesus’ sacrifice and reflect on His grace. The Pastor will break bread and everyone (including kids) is invited to come forward and receive the bread and non-alcoholic wine.

Visitors, those new to faith, and people exploring Christianity are warmly welcome.

You’re invited to stay after the service for a morning tea of cakes, sandwiches, biscuits, tea and free barista coffee. There is plenty of time to get to know others, ask questions, ask for prayer or simply enjoy the community.

Bringing the kids

Dedicated programs with age-appropriate teaching and activities run every Sunday during the 9.30am service to help young ones grow in faith and connect with others:

  • Tiny Treasures (for toddlers to pre-primary age) nurtures little ones through singing, crafts and play. Parents and carers are welcome to stay with their child during the program or leave their child while attending church.
  • Alpha Ablaze (for primary school-aged children) helps kids connect with Jesus through fun, relevant and action-packed activities.
  • Teen Space (for high school students) offers a relaxed gathering where teenagers can grow in faith and make friends.

Parking

Free and easy parking is available in the church car park, located behind the building. The entrance to the car park is off Stirrat Street, which intersects with Chatsworth Road. For those with prams or mobility needs, a footpath along Chatsworth Road provides convenient access from the car park to the church entrance.

What to wear

You’re welcome to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. You’ll see people in everything from t-shirts and shorts to more formal attire.

Accessibility

This service is designed to be as comfortable and accessible as possible for everyone, including those with additional needs.
